Hello! These past few weeks, the class has been so focused on what we are doing.  I am really happy with the way kids are behaving and working in class.  I hope we can keep this up a lot longer.  The atmosphere in here has changed a lot in a few months.

Last week was a short, but productive week.  We are getting into division in math, a new chapter book in reading, and a few new chapters in Ohio and science.  We will try to keep things as normal as possible in class, while students begin to get excited for Christmas and Christmas break.  We have a few things going on that should keep the kids interested. 

Last week, we did our class spelling bee.  Congratulations to Lily and Lincoln who are our two representatives.  Carden is our alternate.  Lily and Lincoln went 17 rounds before a winner was crowned.  It was the best class spelling bee I have ever had in my years of teaching.

Next week, there will be a Santa's Workshop on December 15th and 16th.

If you son or daughter misses school, please try to pick up some make-up work if it is possible.  We have a number or students missing several days and getting very far behind.
