Hello! Sorry for not updating when we came back.  I will try to keep up on this as best as I can.

We are trying a few new things in class.  I am hoping this will help review some old topics and introduce some new ones that are easier for most students to understand.  

There will be no spelling this week.  We are finishing up a six part story on ReadWorks.  In the end, I will give a grade to each student in Progressbook.  This grade will be each students' best grade out of the six stories.

There will be an Ohio test on Tuesday.  This covers things we learned in Chapter 7.  Students have all the notes they need for the test.  I advised them to study last week.  They will NOT have a book out for this.   

The Valentine's  Party and conferences will be this Thursday.  There are still spots available if you would like to come in and talk.

If you son or daughter misses school, please try to pick up some make-up work if it is possible.  We have a number or students missing several days and getting very far behind.
