Spelling- No spelling for a few weeks.

 

Language- We are going to be working some fact and opinion to start the week.  We will get into good detail with this.  Students struggled a little to identify an opinion on the pretest.  There will most likely be a quiz on Wednesday over this.

Reading- We are going to try and finish Chapters 11-20 by Tuesday.  We will try to have a quiz over these chapters on Thursday.

​

Math- We are showing students how to find a missing angle.  That is our quick lesson for the week.  After that, we will move into identifying shapes and types of lines.  We did not get through all of our fractions, so we will quiz on Wednesday over adding and subtracting fractions.

​​Science- We are going to begin Chapter 5.  There will be homework on Monday.  Students will also get to do an experiment either Wednesday or Thursday.

Ohio-  We will begin Chapter 6.  This is a chapter that students typically do well in on their tests and quizzes.  We will begin to get into Ohio began to grow faster and faster as an industrial powerhouse.
