Spelling- We are beginning Lesson 2 in our spelling books.  We will do all the work for this in class, but there will be a test on Thursday over the words.  I am going to have the class write their words in their planner, so they have them at home each night to study.

English- We are working on writing complete sentences.  The class is doing pretty well.  We are going to have a quiz on Tuesday over this.  After that, we will be moving on to two different types of sentences, declarative and interrogative.​​

Reading- We are wrapping up our story on earthquakes.  We will have a test on Wednesday on the story.

Math- We are going to wrap up place value work on Tuesday.  There will be homework on Monday on place value, with a quiz on Wednesday.  We will move on place value with larger numbers after that. ​

Science- We will get our homework done in class.  We will have a quiz on the first section of our science chapter on Thursday.  ​

Ohio- We are going to finish up the information on maps Tuesday.  Wednesday and Thursday we will begin working on a project that deals with map skills.
