Spelling- Spelling is off to a good start.  All work will be done in class this week.  There will be a test on this list on Friday.  All the words are written in their planners for the week.​​​​

English- We are working with a thesaurus this week.  We will do most of this work in class as well.  After that, we will move on to using time order words.  ​​​​​​

Reading-We are starting the story Spinach with Chocolate Sauce.  We will work this in five chapter increments.  There will be homework on Wednesday over Chapters 1-5 and a quiz on Friday.

Math- This week we began going over rounding numbers.  The class already seems in good shape with this.  There will likely be homework on Tuesday over this.  The quiz will happen once I feel students are ready for it.​​

Science-We will be wrapping up our first chapter this week.  We will do some readings and discuss ways to change our projects.  There will be a test early next week over this chapter.

Ohio-We starting reading about Ohio's landform features.  There will be homework Tuesday on this.  There are five questions in their books to write answers for on their paper.  We will likely have a quiz Thursday over this section.
