Spelling- We are beginning Lesson 2 in our spelling books.  Students need to finish pages 5 and 6 AND 4 times each for homework on Tuesday.  There will be a test on this list on Friday.  All the words are written in their planners for the week.​​​​

English- We completed our homework page in class for declarative and interrogative sentences.  We will spend one more day reviewing.  On Thursday, we will have a quiz over these types of sentences.  On Friday, we will do another writing assignment.  The class did awesome with this last time.​​​​

Reading- We are starting a new story this week.  It is called The Princess and the Pizza.  Students will have homework on Wednesday.  The test on the story will be Friday.  This story is a fable, so we are not going to spend a lot of time on it.  We are talking about problems and solutions, as well as a sequence of events in the story.  There are no workbook pages to go along with this story.

Math- We finished numbers in the thousands.  Today we began getting into numbers in the millions.  We will do a lot of this work in class. There will be a quiz at some point, but it largely depends on how well they seem to get it.  It could be as early as Friday or as late as next Tuesday.​

Science- We are moving on to Section 2, Inquiry Skills.  We will read these and do a fun experiment with this information.  ​

​

​

Ohio- We are going to wrap up map skills and begin getting into more book work.  Students will complete their Chapter 1 vocabulary on Friday.
