Spelling- Students will have homework Monday night, which is to finish 4 times each and pages 29-30.  There will be a test over the list on Friday.  Here are the spelling words:

night, dry, mighty, tie,. fight, flight, right, might, die, spy, midnight, tonight, supply, lightning, reply, highway, high, deny, bright, sight

 

Language- We are going to be working two things at once this week in Language.  We will be wrapping up writing a friendly letter to the Great Pumpkin. While this is going on, we will also be reworking Using a Thesaurus.  When i tested them before, it did not go well.  We are going to spend an extra day or two with this.  On Wednesday, I will retest them on using a thesaurus.  We will also be preparing for our Chapter 1 Test.  The test will be on Thursday.  They will have homework on Tuesday night.

Reading- There will be homework on Monday night over Flying Solo.  Students will also have an open book quiz on Wednesday over the chapters we have read so far.  This quiz will be online.

Math-  We will continue on with multiplication.  Students are doing a decent job with this to start.  We will most likely quiz on Wednesday if things continue to go as it is.

​​Science- We will have homework on Monday.  There will be a quiz Thursday over Getting to Know Science Section 1.  This will be covering tools for experiments.

Ohio-  We will have a quiz on Tuesday over the forms of transportation in Ohio.  The rest of the week, we will prepare for a chapter test.  Students will be given notes for this test.  We will do the test early next week.
