Spelling- Students will have homework Monday night, which is to finish 4 times each and pages 25-26.  There will be a test over the list on Friday.  Here are the spelling words:

quick, deliver, gym, different, picture, middle, interesting, village, written, bridge, guitar, thick, picnic, inch, begin, pitch, itch, chicken, building, package

 

Language- We are going to quickly cover time order words.  There is homework on Monday, page 27 in their books.  The quiz on this will be on Wednesday.  They did well on the pretest for this, so we are not wasting a lot of time.  Thursday and Friday, we will begin working on writing a friendly letter.  All work will be done in class.

Reading- We are going to start a new story called A New Kind of Corn and The Pick of the Patch.  We will work on introducing the stories on Monday.  There will be homework on Wednesday over the story, pages 220-225.

There will be a test on Friday over the story.

Math-  We will be working on reviewing Monday-Wednesday for our unit test.  There will be homework Tuesday night.  The test will be Thursday over all the topics covered so far.

​​Science- We will have a quiz on Tuesday over sea breezes, land breezes, and rain shadows.  This will conclude this chapter.  The rest of the week, we will go back to the beginning of the book.  This chapter will allow us to complete more experiments.

Ohio-  We will wrap up Chapter 6 Section 2 on Monday and Tuesday.  There will be a quiz on Wednesday over this information.  Once this is completed, we will back track into Chapter 6 Section 1.  This is about how Ohio began to grow as a state with advancements in transportation.
