Spelling- All of our spelling work will be done in class.  There will be a test on Friday over Lesson 18.  All of these words have an /oo/ sound.  The list isn't bad at all.

Language- We had a quiz Tuesday over possessive pronouns.  I have a lot of faith in this going well for most students.  The rest of the week, we will deal with using I and me, we and us properly.  This is another topic that went well on the pretest, so we will probably wrap it up by the end of the week.

Reading- We will have a quiz on Thursday or Friday over story elements.  Students have highlighted notes for this.  The quiz will be completed online.  We will also continue reading Spinach with Chocolate Sauce.  We are getting to an exciting part in the book.  The class seemed very interested when we finished up yesterday.   ​

Math- We are covering adding and subtracting fractions.  There will be homework on Tuesday and a quiz on Thursday.  We are also working on measuring angles.  We will spend most of this week doing this, because there are two different ways to worry about with this.

​​Science-We will try to get back to science, but this has been hard to do it all.  I am trying to review a little on Tuesday, with the potential for a quiz on Wednesday.  We covered this material pretty well already, so it should be a decent quiz.

Ohio-  We will continue to work in Chapter 8 Section 2.  We have two things left here that we have not got to do.  We will get it done as soon as possible this week.
