Spelling- Students will have homework on Monday, finish their 4 times each.  . There will be a test over the list on Friday.  Here are the spelling words:

football, grateful, harvest, holiday, Indians, Pilgrims, November, stuffing, Thursday, cranberries, Thanksgiving, Mayflower, cornucopia, leftovers, turkey

 

Language- We are quickly moving through writing with nouns.  Students have been responding well to this.  There will be a quiz on Tuesday over this topic.  The rest of the week, we will be working on singular and plural nouns.  There will be homework on Wednesday, page 55.  There may be a quiz on Friday over this, but there are other topics I may rather do.

Reading- We are starting a new story called How Ben Franklin Stole the Electricity.  Students will have homework on Tuesday over the story.  There will be a test over it on Friday.

Math-  We are moving on to another multiplication topic, Area Models.  I am leaning towards doing this work in class.  A lot of students were catching on nicely today already.  I plan on having a quiz on this topic Thursday.  The rest of the time we have before Thanksgiving break will be spent reviewing topics we have covered this year.

​​Science- We are wrapping up the chapter we are on this week.  There will be homework on Monday, page 23 #1-6.  This section is very short, so we will not take a quiz on it.  There will also be homework on Thursday, pages 24-25 in their book, #1-20.  On Monday, next week, I will pass out the chapter test.  They will get to work on this in class AND be able to take it home and have you check their work.

Ohio-  We are working on an entrepreneur project this week in class.  If students are not done with things Wednesday, they will need to finish their work for homework.
